In our two years together Gary and I have been in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia--that is TEN states.
So we have visited one-fifth of the fifty United States.

September 17, 2016 - Scanning Issues and Time Constraints

So Gary wants me to scan photos of his cars into Facebook.
And I am encountering technical problems.
This new laptop does not have a scanner installed.
The less-new laptop does, but it is not connected and the scanning feature has not yet been used.
The old pc won't work well at all.  But it does have software installed that should run the scanner, even though it will not properly connect to the internet.

5/15/16--Day 1 of Journal

Okay. I found the printer manual and removed the cartridges successfully. Nothing was broken. (Yay!)
I registered with HP. Then I ordered a cheap monitor to go with my old PC, since we connected my old monitor to Gary's old PC.
I think I will buy ink cartridges at WM. Or maybe I will order some online.
Now, I need to find my printer cords. If I cannot find them, I will need to order them.
The software disk for installing the printer has been lost. So I may search for software online to install the printer to work with the new laptop.

5/15/16--Gotta' Get Serious--Weight 222

So I forgot to weigh today.
I am standing still. My weight is not going up or down. Staying at 222.
Started the day off with ice cream and had more later.
Calories thus far: Slim Fast and milk = 230; latte = 70; cereal = 200; ice cream = 700; Subtotal = 1200.

4/14/16-- Weight 222.8 pounds This AM

This morning I weighed 222.8.
Wish 100 pounds would vanish in a week, and no skin would sag.
I seem to be able to MAINTAIN this weight easily while still eating whatever I want.
But taking some off is another story.

3/29/16 --Treading! - Weight 222.2

So I've had the treadmill for 8 days now.  Boring.  But hopefully, it will ramp up my metabolism and help me lose weight and live longer.  I'm trying to work in at least an hour a day on the treadmill.
I weighed 222.2 this morning.
Breakfast was Slim Fast and oatmeal.  Late lunch was a BLT with extra bacon (650 cals.) and half of a large order of extra-crispy tater tots from Sonic.

17 Days into the New Year -- Zero Pounds Lost!

So my goal for the new year was to lose 100 pounds.




However, 17 days into the new year, I weighed a half pound more today that I did on January 1, 2016.
Oh, well!!! At least there is only a half pound weight gain!
Might as well look on the bright side.
Weight on January 17, 2016 was 225.8.
Weight on New Year's Day was 225.2.

12/14/15 --Homemade Cinnamon Rolls -Weight 224.2

So my new husband wanted cinnamon rolls, and I made fifty of them.
Weight this morning was 224.2.
I ate five small cinnamon rolls last night.
And five more small cinnamon rolls today.
